- I think my idea of diving, what it means to me and how it impacts people around me has matured.
- I don't consider myself a good diver (yet), but I do think of myself an attentive diver. I am extremely serious about it and I prefer the same degree of attention from people I dive with.
- I prefer to dive with people I can learn from.
- I have clearer idea of where my diving skills should improve.
- I had a chance to meet and "splash" with awesome divers.
- And one of the most important and the least understood phenomenons of this year is that Zhenya actually supports me in this "madness". I know that many of her friends do not understand my diving and consider it stupid and immature thing to do for a father of two. But Zhenya does not succumb...
I don't often have a chance to talk about diving, and I LOVE talking about it; technical stuff, new places and sites, old places and site, things that can be done, things that shouldn't be done... Let this post begin a new blog where I could vent all this. I hope it will become a dialog at some point. But for now I'll settle for being a voice in the wilderness :)
Not to worry. Only 25 days left. Make sure you get your camera. We'll do a nice exposé on West End :)
ReplyDeleteWell, what can I say: on Zhenya's part, it's obviously love. You are lucky!
